The Gourmet chinese takeaway on Chasetown High Street is a relatively new addition to Burntwood's collection of takeaways.

The Gourmet got 3 stars in its most recent food safety inspection.

Tom's Chinese Takeaway is a small, takeaway only restaurant next to The Clock and opposite The Old Mining College in Chasetown. It's a long-time favourite of many locals being one of the longest established takeaways in Burntwood.

 Tom's recently achieved a 4 Star food safety rating.

Chase Balti on Chasetown's High Street is an excellent Indian/Balti Take-away restaurant. We here at burntwood.org have had food from here several times. The staff are very friendly and have, in the past, offered to add dishes we like from other restaurants to their already large and varied menu. The food has always been superb with good portion sizes and excellent flavours.

Additionally, Chase Balti is the only Indian restaurant in Burntwood to have achieved 4 stars in Ratemyplace's food hygiene rating.

Naseeb Balti House is on the Triangle on Hospital Road, Burntwood, located in the rear of the Triangle Pub. We had this menu delivered recently. It's quite a large menu with what looks like a good selection on it. The menu is reproduced below. Click on the pictures to see it full size.

Update Nov 2009: Naseeb Balti has just become the second Indian / Balti Restaurant in Burntwood to achieve 4 Stars for food safety on Ratemyplace. Excellent news for the restaurant and its customer.

Since writing this entry we have eaten from here a number of times and have always been impressed with the quality and quantity of the food and the service from the staff.
