Burntwood business signs up to new Made in Staffordshire scheme
A Burntwood business with four generations of experience has signed up to a scheme designed to support companies across the county.
Bradshaw Brothers Ltd established their farm shop in Burntwood six years ago, but their experience has run in the family for many years.
The Made in Staffordshire scheme is a new enterprise from Staffordshire County Council which supports businesses across the county.
Companies joining up get a range of benefits including online promotion, inclusion in a special Roll of Honour in the county’s Your Staffordshire magazine, plus access to business information, support and networking.
It costs £50 plus VAT to join and this money is ploughed back into the scheme.
Ben Adams, cabinet member for economic growth and enterprise, said: “Our aim is to support local businesses like Bradshaws which employ local people and use Staffordshire-sourced products wherever they can.
“Made in Staffordshire helps enterprising businesses and gives them that extra bit of support.”
Kate Bradshaw from Bradshaw Brothers Ltd added: “We take pride that what we serve is home-bred or local with few travel miles which helps our local economy.
“Being part of Made in Staffordshire just helps to strengthen what we already do.”
