Last chance for unsigned bands to book place on Burntwood Wakes Unsigned bill

Time is running out for unsigned bands to sign up to take part in a live music event at the Burntwood Wakes.

The Wakes Unsigned will take place on July 22 at Burntwood Rugby Club’s Sportsway ground and will feature live music from a number of local artists.

And bands will have to be quick if they want to get on the bill.

Organiser Mike Newey, of Neon Sound Studios, explained:

“There has been a good response again this year. The closing date for postal applications is May 27, but there is still time to book a Live Audition at Neon Studios on May 28 and June 4, so if you are still wondering whether to apply, as long as you are from this area, under 25 and have a musical talent that you want people to hear, ring Neon Studios on 01543 677012 and book an audition.”

The full line-up will be revealed on June 6. Application forms can be collected from Burntwood Town Council Offices and Neon Sound Studios or downloaded from www.neonstudios.co.uk and www.burntwood-tc.gov.uk. Completed forms should be sent to Neon Sound Studios, Unit 4 New Road Industrial Estate, New Road, Burntwood WS7 0AZ.
